Patio Epoxy Coatings in Boise, Meridian & Kuna
Outdoor concrete in the Treasure Valley takes a beating — sun, snow, moisture, and constant freeze–thaw cycles. A professional patio epoxy coating protects your concrete, adds traction, and gives your outdoor space a clean, finished look that lasts. I handle everything personally from prep to finish, so you get a coating that’s installed correctly and built to hold up long‑term.

System Options I Offer for Patios
Different patios need different systems. I offer two outdoor‑friendly options that hold up extremely well in Idaho weather.
MVB (Moisture Vapor Barrier) System
Ideal for patios with moisture issues, shaded areas, or concrete that stays cool and damp.
Blocks moisture coming up through the slab
Helps prevent peeling or delamination
Great for older patios or concrete with dark spots
Can be finished with flake or solid color
Double‑Flake System
My most popular outdoor option.
Two full flake broadcasts for extra texture and traction
Thicker, more durable, and better hiding power
Great for patios, walkways, and pool decks
Clean, uniform look even on older concrete
Both systems are finished with a UV‑stable polyaspartic topcoat so they won’t yellow or chalk in the sun.

My Patio Coating Process
1. Moisture Testing
Every patio starts with a moisture test. Outdoor concrete in Idaho can hold moisture deep in the slab, especially in shaded areas or older patios. Testing first tells me whether we need an MVB system or if a standard basecoat is safe. This step prevents peeling, bubbling, and long‑term failures.
2. Diamond‑grind the concrete
I mechanically grind the entire surface to open the pores and remove old sealers, stains, or weak concrete.
3. Repair cracks & spalling
Outdoor concrete almost always needs repairs. I patch cracks, pitting, and surface damage so the coating bonds correctly.
4. Apply industrial‑grade basecoat
This soaks into the concrete and creates a strong foundation for the system.
5. Full broadcast flake
Adds texture, slip resistance, and a clean decorative look.
6. UV‑stable polyaspartic topcoat
This protects the patio from sun, moisture, and Idaho winters. It cures fast and stays flexible enough to handle temperature swings.
